This class will begin with our learning the third
and fourth sections of the Kabbalistic text, written by Rabbi Haim Vital,
his Sha’arei Kedusha.
It will discuss the Sefirotic order of the worlds,
how we align with them spiritually and the different ways of spiritual
contact.
We will then discuss in detail the numerous
meditative forms discussed in the previously censored Section 4 of the book.
This section contains an involved technique,
originated by Avraham Abulafia for using the 72 triad Names of G-d.
It is very intense. Yet, I believe that I
can relay the information in a way that will be both academic and practical
in nature.
I am also planning to include in this course more
material from the prophetic/meditative guide books the Sulam Aliyah
and the Sha’arei Tzedek.
I require of all students to acquire copies of
these texts in the original Hebrew. (I have seen
that they may be available in English; however I question the source of
publication and the translations. They may or may not be accurate. I will
not rely on them and certainly not endorse them.) Our class will
only use the Hebrew originals with my own translations.
Students for this class must have some ability to
follow along in a Hebrew text; they must be serious G-d fearing individuals,
who, if Jewish, must be fully compliant and observant of Torah Law.
Benei Noah are also welcome, but I would suggest
any interested parties contact me first to ascertain if indeed this material
is appropriate and suitable.
This will be a private class for registered
students only. I anticipate the course to run a full 24 sessions (six
FIVE months)
The fee for the course will be $1560.00. This
amount can be split into six
FIVE equal monthly payments of $260.00

Once I have a minimum enrollment of 12 students
I will announce class time and we will begin. At present, I would like to
teach this class on a Thursday at 5 p.m. Pacific time, that is 8 p.m. on the
US east coast, and a comfortable middle of the night for those of you in
Europe and Aretz (best time to learn this material). This time is subject
to chance based upon the needs and availabilities of the registered
students.
