Our Future...
 

KosherTorah.com has been online now for over 15 years. We have come a long way since our humble beginnings. For 15 years we have existed on a shoe-string budget, always getting by with the help of our friends.

I am very grateful for all our supporters over the years, those who have contributed much and those who have contributed little.

Yet, today KosherTorah.com is faced with a serious dilemma, and that is how to move on and grow.

I have received many suggestions from many different parties, all of which, however, seem to have one thing in common.

I am often called upon to compromise the message of KosherTorah.com, to make it more politically correct, and therefore, easier to sell to a greater audience.

While I do not mind compromise in areas where compromise is called for, Torah, KosherTorah, is not an area that can be compromised, not now, not ever! And therefore, without intent, and without my desiring so, many shy away from KosherTorah because of this or that reason of "political correctness."

This has hurt us financially, but in my opinion, it only makes KosherTorah stronger in principles.

I am proud of one thing, and that is that I have never sold out!

I have never compromised my values.

Much to the consternation of many in the religious community, I have taught subjects in Torah that many do not want you to know!

Much to the consternation of many in the religious community, I have made available material that others themselves do not know, and consider to be a threat to their so-called religious traditions.

Much to the consternation of many in the religious community, I am not interested in becoming more "politically correct."

Like I said, I have never, and no matter the cost, I will never sell out!

* I will not compromise and I will not cease!

* I will continue to be a promoter of active bonding with God (devekut).

* I will continue to be a promoter of unity of all like-minded God fearing souls (akhdut).

* I will continue to be a vocal critic against religious and social hypocrisy.

* I will continue to speak out against what is wrong today with both religion and the religious.

* I will continue to teach both pshat (the simple) and sod (the secrets) in the right, proper, psychological transforming model that I believe is the best and right way.

* Frankly, I give a damn! I will continue to give a damn about you!

Let me be blunt, my message on KosherTorah.com is simply not reaching a large enough audience. Just in case you don't know it, my message is posted right here!

I have waited for as long as I could, but now I have to initiate changes to KosherTorah.com in order to transform us into a thriving, continuing business.

We are far behind in technology. Working alone, I do not have the skills, or the time to get the necessary work done in order to modernize. I certainly do not have the funds to hire the proper people who indeed can do the work.

For the last 30 years, I have been a Rabbi.  I have no other career, and no other credentials.  Even if I wanted to, I have no other choice but to continue doing what it is that I am doing.  And so I shall.

I do however need to transform KosherTorah.com and modernize as much as I alone can.

Therefore, I must take measures to transform a very good Yeshiva into a very good business.

The following steps that I will now outline, I feel must be done.

Bottom line is that KosherTorah.com is not making it financially.  We do not have rich backers, and we do not have large enough of a readership.  Therefore, I am forced to implement the following changes.
 

1. Incentives for Email List Additions

KosherTorah needs to grow, as an internet business, period! Being that I cannot afford all the fancy new tech to update the website, I must depend upon the value of my content, and upon Y-O-U!

Here is my offer. If you like KosherTorah.com, then tell your friends!

Anyone who can provide KosherTorah.com with T-E-N (10) new and verifiable email addresses* to be added to our regular email list,

I will reward such individuals with a $36.00 gift certificate

to be used towards any KosherTorah.com purchase!

* These email addresses must be of new readers to KosherTorah.com, not just a new email address for someone who is already a reader.

We have a verification system in place, therefore in order to qualify for this special offer, this is the procedure.

You must have the permission of the holder of each email address to send their email address to KosherTorah.

Like I said, each one will be contacted individually to verify their agreement to be put on our list. KosherTorah is not spam, and we will not be treated like it.

Once you have a list of ten new contacts, you must email them to me at koshertorah1@yahoo.com. I will then contact them, and when they are verified, I will extend to you the gift certificate.

The email address must be valid and stay on our KosherTorah.com email least for at least six months.

can earn financial rewards for KosherTorah.com.

Many cannot afford to support KosherTorah.com with cash. I understand this. However, when purchasing for oneself, one can still support us by going to KosherTorah.com and clicking there on the links to Amazon.com.

Amazon.com has a full selection of:

* kosher foods,

* Passover wines and matzah,

* Jewish religious items,

* books on all topics,

* outdoor/camping items,

* and many other things.
